Prove it!
It’s actually 17 years, but I can only prove I’ve been making websites since 2001. That’s when The Wayback Machine took it’s first snapshot of my personal website. Here is the link to snapshot of my page back then:

And here is the directory of all 32 archive shots:

The Wayback Machine is run by the Internet Archives, which is a fascinating site which archives websites, video and sound (anything digital) from the past. If a website URL is taken down, returning a 404 – Page Not Found, you may still find an old copy of the site there. They have just launched a new site. I haven’t found time to explore the new format. When you visit https://archive.org/, you’ll be going down a long rabbit hole. Without Archive.org I wouldn’t be able to prove I had a site in early 2001. But I did!
Back then, the site only be described as “Gothic”. What? You say my tastes haven’t changed much. I’m still using an inverted colour scheme, or “dark theme”. Some things don’t change much.
Change is inevitable – except from a vending machine. Robert C. Gallagher quotes
With that, I’ve decided to update the look of this site. The deciding will take longer than the doing. There are lots of reasons to update this site, the formost is that it’s outdated. It fails the mobile test which I preform for all web clients that I make a site for. At this point if anyone wants to encourage a new look, please comment. I use WordPress, so creating a new look is a simple (sort-of) as choosing a new theme. There are thousands out there. Help me choose!
When I test a new look, I’ll screenshot it and make a photo post on this site.
