The First World War. A little book, first published in 1924, about a farm in France during the Trench warfare of WW 1. The story follows the farmer’s daughter, her life and struggle for 4 years with the story ending in 1918. The author made another 2 instalment in the story forming it into a trilogy, however I have no copies of the next two books.
